Fancy face overalls, XL/XXL

One of my favorite things to wear is overalls, I have over a dozen pairs that i've been collecting for at least the last ten years. I feel like it's such an easy way to have a whole outfit ready in under 3 minutes, just grab a comfy shirt and go!

I have an ever growing stash pile of linens that I categorize as perfect overalls textiles and i've been waiting for Fall to roll around so I could unleash them. I spent alot of time developing this pattern based off all my favorite features from the overalls I wear often. I positioned the pockets on the side of the legs rather than the front so they're not pulling the front down when you fill them with rocks!

This pair of overalls is upcycled from the absolute coolest pinstriped demin, colorful checkboard and fancy face materials. The straps are made from a wide trim with ricrack I found at Brimfield Antique market! This pair has extra wide legs with drawstring ankles and four big pockets. Yeah, I did put a usable pocket at the top of the back, no you likely won't be able to use it yourself unless you have super long arms buuuuut you CAN fill it with tootsie pops and be a walking candy dish for your friends. Do iiiiiit! I love this pair! I made myself a similar pair with the same rainbow patchwork so, if you buy these, please send me photos bc we'll be (almost) twinning.

Please not that this pair is heavy, they weigh 2.2 pounds! These are most likely not best for someone that lives where it's warm all year. The pant fronts are double layered like Carhartt utility pants. They're built like a tank.

I've taken the time to carefully note all of the measurements so please be sure to check them and compare to a pair you may already have on hand. I would say this pair would likely best fit someone who typically wears up to and including a size XL/XXL. Please note that the inseam on the overalls may be shorter than what you typically wear bc they are a relaxed fit, the crotch may sit a bit lower.

All of the measurements were taken with the garment laying flat, please double the measurement for the chest/waist/hips to get the total circumference.

I always include full measurements for each garment and people will frequently ask me what the best way to measure themselves is and this is my advice:  I always recommend measuring something similar that you have and love the fit of!  Measuring your body just tells you your actual measurements but it doesn't take into account what level of ease you like in a garment.  I prefer my clothes sit a little loose with lots of ease.  For measuring your garment, lay it flat (if it has an opening, make sure it's fully closed) and measure across armpit to armpit, then from the shoulder to the bottom hem for the length and then the shoulder seam to the wrist for the sleeve length.

There's no special washing instructions here, these pants are built to last, you can throw them In w your regular laundry and dry them, they'll last forever.
