I've had a love of vests since I was a little kid. I remember alot of my dad's friends having them and being so envious. For some reason, I always thought vests wouldn't work for my body but that's not true at all! Once I sat to start drafting a pattern, I added darts in one of the test runs and it made all the difference in the world for me! However, a few of my friends suggested making some vests without the darts bc they're more gender fluid and I do agree there's a place for them! I just drafted up this pattern so right now it's only available in the one size but I plan to grade it up and down and have additional sizing next time.
This vest is made from deadstock Oshkosh hickory stripe denim with wide wale corduroy accents. The pockets and facing are done in the softest wide wale cord. I hand carved some lino blocks this past winter and this hobo bunny was one of them. I feel like this cap wearing hobo is perfect for the railroad stripe and once I added the NY Central line patch, it just felt right to go all the way and add the bolt. I left the back clear for you to add your fav back patch. This thing will last you a lifetime.
This vest would best fit someone who typically wears up to a M (maybe large if you prefer it fitted) Please see the measurements below

Thank you for choosing slow fashion and being part of Mother Nature's Army!
I always include full measurements for each garment and people will frequently ask me what the best way to measure themselves is and this is my advice: I always recommend measuring something similar that you have and love the fit of! Measuring your body just tells you your actual measurements but it doesn't take into account what level of ease you like in a garment.
